Elim & Riley // Portraits
It’s been a foggy fall, which I am very pleased with. I have a bit of a love affair with the fog. It rolls in, it rolls out, it hides the downtown core from me on my morning walk. If you follow me on instagram, you’ll find loads of posts every-time it gets foggy here. Seriously, obsessed.
Well, the fog didn’t stick around as thickly as I was hoping for Elim & Riley’s portraits in Steveston, but that was all good, because they are clearly awesome enough all on their own. We went on a long walk together, retracing the steps of the day Riley proposed to Elim. The shoot ended at Pajos for some fish & chips which is one of their traditions… and maybe one of ours too! It was my first time in memory trying fish & chips (don’t laugh… I have this thing about fish) and I have to say that Pajos did not disappoint. Getting these photographs ready to post actually made me really hungry and seriously contemplating the 45 minute drive to Steveston to get some.
Enough about Fish & Chips. Meet Elim & Riley-two of the nicest people we’ve photographed, ever. Elim works for Lululemon as their brand stylist. Cool job, for sure. And, she has wicked awesome fashion sense. I have texted her about the 7/8ths ankle pant trend and all. Haha! Riley is a Materials Engineer. He did his thesis on Titanium. He knows loads of cool things and he loves Elim loads and loads. Stay tuned for photos from their upcoming November wedding!
