This day.

A day of garden roses and lace dresses. A day of pearls, cowgirl boots, vintage trucks and bowties. A day of pies, jokes about iPad photography, rose coloured sunsets and s’mores by the fire. A day of thoughtful details, grandparents holding hands, sangria, and conga lines.

We had so much fun photographing Sydney & Taylan’s Choose Your Own Adventure session that we knew their wedding day was going to be simply the best. And, it was.

One of our favourite parts of their day was the ceremony. Sydney’s dad walked her down the aisle and instead of just handing her off and sitting down, all of the parents stood up and gathered around them. Their pastor began to share what Sydney & Taylan love and have appreciated about their parents growing up. It was super special and I though, such a great way of honouring all the love and attention and care and sacrifice of a parent. Beautiful.

The smores & campfire were great too. I feel like every wedding should end with a campfire. Some sort of sparkle.
