For them, keeping things intimate and simple was at the top of the list.

No super long engagement. No hundreds of opinions on how a wedding “should” be. Just them and their closest, in a pretty spot in the forest and with a family style dinner to follow.

So, it was to be a surprise. For a couple of months they planned how it would all go down. How to trick their friends into thinking it was simply a birthday party and then, spring the real story on them.

And it was phenomenal.

Our time together that day was magical. Adina & Keegan passed on a bunch of wedding traditions that didn’t have meaning for them and created a day that did—full to the brim of love and meaning. After getting ready together, they gave us loads of time for portraits of the two of them which we loved. Photography was a super important part of the day to them. We had plenty of time in the most beautiful spots to create great art together and we even had a bit of time in some sunny-cloudy sunset light to do a few more in a off-the-beaten path Graeme and I found earlier that morning.
