It’s no secret that we love a good destination wedding. Travel is a huge inspiration for us and we find that we are often at our creative best when we’re shooting in new places with couples who enjoy a good adventure and are ridiculously in love. That’s why we reserve a handful of spaces in our calendar every year for destination weddings around the world.
We’ve photographed weddings in Italy, Hawaii, New Zealand, Switzerland, Mexico and elsewhere-from intimate events with a handful of a couple’s nearest & dearest to raucous parties of over a hundred guests, these weddings have been career highlights.
We’re always happy to head back to spots we’ve fallen in love with or explore somewhere completely new.
We know it’s a leap of faith to bring a photographer (let alone two) to your celebrations, especially if you’re planning a destination wedding. You can 1000% trust us with documenting your wedding adventure beautifully and truthfully. For every destination wedding, we arrive several days in advance so we can get acclimated and scout the shiz’ out of your destination-we want to create the most stunning portraits of you together. We’ll also be taking a bunch of travel & scenery photos as we explore your destination that you get to keep and enjoy as a bonus to your wedding gallery. Heck yes! We love creating photos that are atmospheric and really give you a sense of a place: how it felt to be there, what it sounded like, what the smells and colours and textures were… all that good stuff.
If there’s time before your wedding to meet and mingle with your guests, we’ll take the opportunity to do so because we want everyone to feel comfortable around us-we’ve been told many times by our past couples how we blended in with their guests and party perfectly, like we were one of the gang. We’ll do the same for you. Beyond that, we will give you our all because we want to be a part of you having the best wedding day ever and give you the most incredible photos to relive all the joy and love for years to come.
