Looking over all of Terra & Clayton’s photos to pick selects to share here was a heart-glowing experience, because, it was exactly that kind of day. They planned a winter wedding in Tofino, favouring fog and storms over sunny days with the brilliant idea to cosy up in a cabin with their nearest for the evening. It was a weekend void of wedding cliches, full of meaning, and so down to earth, just like Terra & Clayton.

Terra and Clayton were married on Middle Beach on a brisk and foggy January day with a fire crackling beside them and their family. Subie, their dog, was dressed in his wedding best. There was champagne and a very gorgeous sandy dress (nothing a pre-reception hose-down couldn’t fix as Terra proved later on) and later on, dinner with all their favourite things (tacos, pierogis, sliders, donuts & pie) in an A-frame cabin at The Shoreline. We pinched ourselves often, truly thankful and humbled to be invited into such an intimate and beautiful celebration-we were welcomed in and treated like family.

When you photograph two people who are so kind and genuine and brilliant, it’s the kind of wedding you’ll cherish forever in your heart.
